Provided Financial expertise/guidance + analytical and holistic business perspective. • Managed local finance teams in the four plants (3 countries). • Coached & managed participants on GE’s Finance graduate program on 6-month rotations to Cork.• Managed Budgeting, Forecasting and Reporting for P/L cycle from target setting and allocation to ‘landing’ quarterly results with analysis. • Identified best Productivity and Capex projects (typically $50M+ spend/yr) to pursue, challenged business justifications, built business cases, followed through on execution.• Participated on Business Development teams where GEHC assessed potential acquisitions. ‘De-ciphered’ manufacturing cost performance based on information provided. • Improved predictability in group financials (‘COGS’) from +/- $5-8M per qtr to less than +/- $2M by deep-diving ledger with >500k entries. Removed / mitigated errors & improved forecasting tools.• Built and maintained off-line (excel) model which consolidated multi-plant cost data for 1500+ SKUs, ensuring business decisions could be made with ‘global’ rather than ‘local’ view.• Optimised financial reporting and operational decisions within Controllership/GAAP and Pharma-regulatory constraints
