I have a long career behind me as instrumentation engineer. Currently I am working for Shearwater Geo Services as Instrument Support Engineer, supporting our seismic fleet.I also follow up with purchasing, logistic, the vessels are correct equipped and any technical issues are dealt with. Previously I worked as first line support for the seismic department offshore. I have previous worked 12 years offshore on seismic vessels as a seismic observer. I have build up competence in repairing and testing of seismic equipment. Operating winches and working 12 hours shift for several weeks in row on deck. Same time I have experience in setting up recording machines for acquisition and online data quality control.I have previously also worked as instrumentation engineer for IMR. Mainly maintained and supervised the research equipment for Kongsberg/Simrad.
