Exactly what was required for my role as Release and Deployment Manager, aiming to delivery high quality IT Services at the interface between software development, operational support and customers business. I have learned to manage the complexity of IT service creation and delivery with a strong focus on customers’ needs. As part of an "abroad-program" in Helsinki, I had the chance to work as a technical consultant in the field of financial reporting. I was involved in major project steps, from the process-definition, technical realization of data flows, calculations and validations, as well as testing and training. It was such an exciting time; personally, as well as carrier focused. Keeping the focus on technical consulting, I finally found my passion in the field of Cyber Security. In my current role as Solution Consultant, I am working closely together with my customers to plan, design and implement IT Security solutions and services, according to their needs. This role requires a holistic view on many IT domains in order to build strong solutions, but still allows to focus on specific technologies. For me those key technologies are web-application security, network security and security automation. I am convinced that being a great consultant requires constantly keeping up with state-of-the-art technologies, assessing their potential and building solutions that combine both - proven technology with new and modern approaches.
