Hans van Cleef works as a Head of Energy Research & Strategy with Publieke Zaken (PZ) ERS based in The Hague. In this role he covers the energy market in its broadest sense. In 2002, He moved to Treasury & Special Products NL, where he worked as a Treasury Advisor. Since April 2005, Hans also contributed to the Forex-team within the IAC. In March 2007 he joined the Forex and Commodity team full-time as a FX & Commodity Strategy / Research analyst within Private Banking International. Since March 2012, Hans worked as a senior Energy Economist (VP) at Group Economics with ABN AMRO Bank, covering energy related commodities and the energy transition.Hans van Cleef holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Economics of the Higher Professional Business Education. Na zijn studie Bedrijfseconomie startte hij als teamleider bij een dochter van ABN AMRO Bank genaamd AAGUS FSG. Vanaf medio 2002 tot en met medio 2007 heeft Hans gewerkt als treasury adviseur bij ABN AMRO Private Banking Nederland. In 2007 is Hans zich volledig op research gaan richten binnen ABN AMRO Private Banking International als valuta- en grondstoffen/energie analist. Vanaf begin 2012 was Hans werkzaam als senior energie-econoom (VP) bij het Economisch Bureau van ABN AMRO.
