I am Managing Partner of Stibbe Amsterdam and as corporate lawyer part of the Stibbe M&A group.I specialise in Dutch corporate law, including cross-border mergers and acquisitions, private equity and corporate finance transactions, acting for private equity funds, multinationals and financial institutions.Before taking on the role of Managing Partner, I headed up the Stibbe London office from 2007-2021. Previously, I was the resident partner of the Stibbe New York office. Prior to this I worked at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett, New York (2000-2001) and in the period from 1994 until relocating to New York in 1998 I was in the M&A group of the Stibbe Amsterdam office.I am an officer of the Corporate and M&A Law Committee of the International Bar Association and a member of the Editorial Board of Business Law International, a business law publication. In addition, I am a member of the Netherlands Bar Association and American Bar Association. I am a regular speaker on M&A and Private Equity subjects.
