Fred. Olsen Windcarrier AS was established in the beginning of 2008 to meet the increasing demand for offshore wind turbine installation vessels and related marine service vessels. The Company focuses on providing clients with efficient and cost effective transport, installation and service solutions.Fred. Olsen & Co. carries on a tradition from 1848, when the Fred. Olsen family first entered the shipping business. The firm is today owned by Mrs. Anette S. Olsen, fifth generation of the family. Fred. Olsen & Co. provides administrative services to Bonheur ASA and Ganger Rolf ASA, both quoted on Oslo Stock Exchange. Anette S. Olsen is also the managing director of Bonheur ASA and Ganger Rolf ASA which, together with related companies, are engaged inter alia in offshore drilling, floating oil production, renewable energy, cruise and shipping.
