Responsible for sourcing within T&L category for the BU`s in Western Europe. Finding spot buy solutions for transport, making specific organizational and financial agreements with contracted and ad hoc suppliers. Managing peak period capacity in order not to endanger Service Level. Follow up on POT for vendors within category. Responsible for maintaining prices, vendor master data, market research regarding trends, new legislation, new equipment, green logistics. Creation of complete spend analysis for Log Support was one project I delivered succesfully.

As the fruit of the positive impression I left in the order taking department, I could move to the transport planning department after one year. My responsabilities included, but were not limited to, the daily planning of all finished goods and bulk transport in Benelux, leaving from the main plant in Leuven. On average, these are 120 FTL's that leave the company daily. This means i am following up on correct and timely loadings in the warehouse, as well as correctly and timely pickup of these transports from our carriers side, as always in the most cost-effective way. In this position I report directly to my line manager, while I'm working in a very close cooperation with the on plant asset manager and logistics managers, in order to get everything delivered in time. Daily I have a very close interaction with inventory deployment team, customer service department and warehouse to ensure an everyday on-time delivery. Apart from that I am constantly looking to improve and optimize current processes and way of working, with Kaizen and Lean principles always in the back of the head. To make sure our KPI's stay constantly green, i track my own performance, system performance and our carrier's performances weekly, in order to be able to delivery to our customer and without compromising on Delivery Performance.

In 2012, my first 'real' job was helping to move the Order Taking team from its base in Belgium to its new home in the AB Inbev Service center in Prague. After two months of intensive on the job training, work shadowing, and continuous effort, we were able to move the whole section of domestic Order Taking from Belgium to Czech Republic, with me as a proud part of that. Main purpose was capturing all incoming customer orders (for pickup, delivery) and translate them into sales orders in SAP ERP. Communicating with customers and internal stakeholders comes automatically with that, as I also checked whether stocks were available, customers were allowed certain products or not and production plans often changed. In every single situation, satisfying every customer within company possibilitieswas the ultimate goal. I became quickly familiar with SAP ERP, our internal Warehouse Management System and frequently used applications as MS Excel, as I needed these daily for executing my job with excellence.
