My name is Hansel Leon, I am an artist, graphic designer and product developer. In my career I have had the opportunity to design products that were licensed by the major sporting leagues. I worked directly with professional teams to develop shareholder products and gift items for faculty and staff members. Most of what we created was our own designs from product art briefs and analysis of the market and our target audience. We then sold to a number of companies; TJ Maxx, Marshalls, Ross, Fanatics.com, Groupon, Kohls, Hobby Lobby, Kroger as well as hundreds of small mom and pop shops. Designs were created using CNC routers. I created designs using Photoshop and illustrator. CNC files were created using a process developed using adobe Illustrator to create DXF Files. From design to production I have gained the knowledge to see a project through from being the creator to managing each aspect of the production process. I managed printers as well as CNC operators to keep everyone on task and meeting deadlines. As the sole designer for years many hats were worn and many useful skills were acquired that have given me the ability to quickly turn around designs, manage task thoroughly, direct a team, develop products and production processes. I also studied my processes to refine for higher efficient output and cost-waste reduction.
