In my role as application manager for the BHP Billiton marketing office I worked in a team which was responsible for the functional and technical support of 60+ marketing applications including the tradingdesk applications. Responsibilities; secondline incident handeling, application security, the documentation of existing applications, the documentation and acceptance of new applications, Implementation of new applications, the documention of support processes for outsourcing, Creation of change implementation plans for application changes and upgrades, represent changes in the change acceptance board, project resource for server virtualization projects.In this role I was also a point of contact for the customer with external and internal service providers. I attended daily status review meetings and weekly SLA meetings with account management.
