I represent the various malls during press conferences, and am very comfortable communicating with a diverse audience from different industries. - Lingual autocrat. I provide English training to staff across the four malls that we actively manage, and remain accessible to all employees on all things language-related. I come up with the syllabus design and course content for staff, and frequently travel between malls to provide said training. I've also designed a language proficiency test for prospective employees, which is an additional resource to our Human Resources Department. - Template creator. I frequently design templates to be used for our malls, and this includes press releases, media invites, letters (for sponsorship, recruitment, etc.), signages, emails, etc. These templates often go beyond the written word, and incorporates visuals as well.- Additional responsibilities? I've designed an award winning submission for the International Property Awards using only what's available to me on Microsoft Office, and have provided for some of the mall's photography. I was invited to teach part-time at one of the busiest language centres in Kuala Lumpur. I wanted to discover how students of various nationalities were acquiring language and how independent language centres functioned. During my two-month stay with ELS, I have hosted the programme completion parties and developed close relationships with my colleagues and students, some of whom still remain in touch with me even after they’ve graduated and returned to their respective countries.
