The work included establishment of architecture and content of the system. Fram FEED for Shell, 2011 - 2012.Leviathan FEED for Noble Energy, 2012 - 2013. Catcher FEED for Premier Oil, 2013 - 2009 - 2011; Quality Manager for Papa Terra P-63 FPSO project for Petrobras. Part of Management team being responsible for Quality Management, Risk Management, Quality Surveillance and Audits of Contractors and Suppliers. 2007 - 2009: Quality Manager for the development of a deepwater STL moored FPSO BW Pioneer located on the Cascade & Chinook field on 2600 m water depth in the Gulf of Mexico. This is the very first FPSO in US waters and the US Regulations were not developed for FPSOs. BW Pioneer will be operated by BWO under a lease contract with Petrobras. Authority Compliance was most critical to the project.Part of Management team being responsible for Quality Management, Risk Management, Regulatory Compliance (including Authority contact), Quality Surveillance and Audits of Contractors and Suppliers.Also involved in Quality Management System development including the development of the Project Execution Model (PEM) in BWO’s corporate organisation.

Dong Energy – Hejre Project (2013 – 2014)Assigned as Lead auditor for planning, execution and reporting three audits on Technip design, Heerema jacket construction and DSME topsides fabrication related to structural tolerances for offshore mating of Topsides and Jacket.

Lead auditor in Ormen Lange. Planning, execution, reporting and follow-up of audits of complex and critical issues for Project Director. Auditees were Hydro, Aker Kværner, Energomontaz, FMC, Sørco, and Shell. (Total project cost 10 billion US $)Also involved in experience handling and improvements within Hydro including Environmental Management, Quality, HSE, Risk, Document control, Authority Permits and Authority contact.

Appointed Vice President QA/HSE in Aker Marine Contractors (later EMAS) Top Management. Responsible for QA/HSE in all projects and for the development in the corporate organisation. Involved in Aker Kværners Global Excellence process within Project Execution Model and also appointed Champion for the Continuous Improvement programme. QA/HSE Responsible in the Statoil Kristin Mating and Kristin tow and installation projects and the Baobab installation Project for Modec Int. Responsible for QA/HSE in the Sakhalin II Tow and Installation Project for Shell. The Sakhalin Project complied with very stringent requirements regarding environment monitoring, oil spill response, waste management, whale protection and emergency response.

Project Manager for SUT/ISM project for Rig owner Dolphin. Managing a team responsible for developing Application for Acknowledgement of Compliance (SUT) for Borgland Dolphin. The Project included the development and implementation of a Computer Software Program (SQL database) for establishing Requirement Specifications, Verification Programmes, Reports and Action follow-up. The work included assistance in developing Dolphin’s Management system as necessary for the SUT and ISM certification process.

Norsk Hydro Oil and Gas – West VentureQuality Manager for the West Venture (West Future II) project, representing the Client towards Smedvig as owner for a 5th generation Drilling Rig with dual Ramrigs. Engineering, construction and outfitting is performed by Hitachi Zosen in Japan. The building of the Rig to Hydro’s and Norwegian Authorities’ requirements required extensive monitoring from the team.Also involved in the development of Hydro’s internal procedures to establish “best practise”

Kværner Oil and Gas - Laminaria FPSO Project Quality Manager and part of Project Management team for the Laminaria Project for the Australian Oil Company Woodside Offshore Petroleum. Kværner and SBM were responsible for engineering, procurement, fabrication, assembly, hook-up and commissioning of a complete FPSO, the largest in the world to date.The Project had offices, Suppliers and Contractors all over the world, which required extensive management. Responsible for the establishment of management systems and execution of internal and external audits. The Project used electronic communication and documentation, which also was reflected in the Project Management system.

Personell Assistanse (Proffice) Establishment of quality system, including assistance in implementation of same. Conducted a three day seminar for quality auditors. Personell Assistanse was certified to ISO 9001 in September 1997.

HÅG (1995-1996 part time)Assessment of the HÅG’s procedures and implementation of it to check compliance with ISO 9001. Assisted in the establishment of a new quality system structure and content. Assisted in the implementation of the system and performance of quality audits internally and toward their suppliers. Conducted a three-day audit seminar for HÅG auditors.

Statoil Heidrun (1995)Advisor to Statoil's operations in Stjørdal including facilitating the quality system for normal operation of the Heidrun platform. Heidrun achieved design oil-production of 220.000 barrels per day 2 months after first oil.

Glamox Fabrikker AS - Molde (1993-1995 part time)Established new structure and contents for a new quality system based on their ISO approved quality system. Advisor to the management in the development of new procedures, work instructions and associated documentation.Execution of a two-day seminar in quality audits. Repeated same two-day seminar in March 1999.

Conoco Heidrun Operation (1995)Advisor to Conoco’s offshore completion and operations team who was responsible for offshore installation, completion, operation and smooth handover to Statoil. The work was to establish and implement a quality system for simultaneous platform completion and operation. This included establishment of structure and contents of the quality system and facilitating the implementation together with the platform management.

Conoco Norway - Heidrun Project (1992-1995)Assisted in the development of Client procedures for monitoring of major construction contracts. Managing major audit teams, involving Veritec and other specialists, in planning and execution of approximately 45 quality audits on major contracts in Europe.Advisor to Conoco’s site teams during module construction. Established structure and content of Client quality system for inshore hook-up and commissioning phase.

Widerøes Flyveselskap (1994)Assessment of Widerøe Technical department’s procedures and implementation of it, with subsequent presentation of recommended improvements.Developed and performed a two day seminar in service quality for Widerøe’s Operation division according to ISO 9004-2.

Oslo New Airport Gardermoen (Oslo Hovedflyplass AS) (1993)Established structure and content in the quality system for the Client organisation for the new main airport, which opened in 1998. Developed requirements to Contractors quality assurance. Evaluation of tenders from Contractors.

ABB Global Engineering AS (1993)Established quality system for Smedvig Water Injection Project within ABB Global Engineering.Established quality system for the Statpipe Compressor Project for ABB Global Engineering including planning and execution of numerous quality audits.Developed structure for ABB Global’s quality system, including quality assurance of software development. Developed a computer based project quality system, which was used as model for new projects.

Quality Manager, Aker Products (1981 - 1983)Developed and implemented a total quality assurance system for the company. Aker Products delivered offshore cranes several helicopter refuelling plants to different semi submersibles, and several F-16 test facilities to the Norwegian Air Force. The QA manual was approved by the Norwegian Defence according to AQAP 1 by in August 1982. Responsible for Quality Assurance and Quality Surveillance, review and approval of material and welding specifications/procedures from subcontractors and suppliers. The crane project involved approx. 50 suppliers, all over Europe and involved a lot of travelling.

QA Specialist Engineer (1980 - 1981) Assigned to Nylands Verksted for Quality Assurance of the development, design, production, testing and construction of the F-16 aircraft test facilities to the Norwegian Air Force. Responsible for preparation and implementing a total Quality Assurance system in accordance with the AQAP 1 standard. Responsible for that Nylands Verksted was approved according to AQAP 1 in January 1981. (More difficult and thorough than certification according to ISO 9001)Client: The Norwegian Air Force.

Welding Engineer (1979 - 1980)Assigned to A/S Fredrikstad Mek. Verksted. Responsible for preparation and execution of all welding procedure qualification tests for Water Injection module to Statfjord "A" and for "Mud Module" to Statfjord "B".
