The Domkerk is besides a - famous - church and cathedral also a historical building, that attracts hundreds of thousands vistors and tourists every year. The entrance is free and to accomodate and finance daily opening, over 200 volunteers are working for Domopen, a foundation of the Domkerk, Domopen provides services for shop, cafe, museum, reception, education and maintenance to the Domkerk. I am responsible for the processes and operations of the secretariat and IT, facilitating all services and its volunteers administration.

Garansys is an independent company founded by the Caesar Group. Most of its customers are leaders in their industry. My task is to recruit new customers and propose services that fit their real needs making them last in the long term. Some of my well known customers are Unilever, Ahold, NS, CZ, a.s.r., PON, Alliander and Van Oord. Some less known but ambitious companies are Avio Diepen, PincVision and Libris.

The most interesting part of my job is selling complex IT software projects. Caesar is offering TimeValue projects according Goldratt's principles. In 2009 these activities were moved into a new company: Garansys. Making and meeting my own budget including >20% new business yearly. I tripled my budget in just over 2 years by giving my customers what I promised and by really taking care about their needs.

Responsible for my own sales unit.Training and coaching of young(er) sales. Hands on, realising the highest turnover within the Caesar group myself. Hard work but lots of fun! Three out of the four team members are now very successful directors or entrepreneurs and I can say proudly that they are doing better than me!
