In my role as innovation manager at Prime Vision I'm looking for new applications or new markets as investment opportunities for the Prime Vision portfolio (Robotics, Computer Vision/AI and Smart Systems). In this role I use all my knowledge of the E-commerce, Parcel and Postal industry that I gained during my 10 years as a Senior Consultant working with many Postal/Parcel operators worldwide.My main skills are: fast analysis of a business process or system landscape, acurate calculations of cost savings and fit of new concepts, knowledge about the latest and greatest logistics technology, including AI and Robotics. Using these skills, I look for new opportunities for applying either Robotics or Computer Vision/AI to incorporate in our product development.Prime Vision is the specialist in postal automation, including address OCR, VCS, Sorting Decision System, (sorting) IT integration, Robotic Sorting. The company has PostNL and First Dutch as share holders. Previously, I have worked in the field of speech recognition and human-computer interaction design. I have two master degrees; in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and in Applied Physics.

  Based on my 10 years experience in E-commerce, Parcel and Postal, I'm applying my knowledge and know how to innovate the Portfolio of Prime Vision. I'm looking for exciting new opportunities to apply the technologies of Prime Vision - like Computer Vision/AI, Intelligent Software, and Robotics -at areas in either the CEP, Postal or warehouse market, where staff shortage or high quality are an issue. I'm also investigating other market seqments that could benefit from our solutions. I'm applying short cycle innovation methods to be agile for new opportunities and look for optimal product market fit, making sure to invest in the most promising product applications.
