KROLEX, est. 1968 by Hans Krol; S&P-Broker for all kinds of tonnage of seagoing- and inland-waterway-ships, e.g. tankers, general cargo, passenger- and hotelships.Since the 1980 till 1992 KROLEX had become heavily involved with mediation and agency in the newbuilding and sale of a particular type of low-airdraftcoaster. Some 30 coasters of this highly successful type in the range of 1500 to 3000 tdw have been built for German Shipping companies, all built in and by a Dutch shipyards, predominately by Damen Shipyard’sThe number of KROLEX’s successful S&P results: about 400+ ships, by end 1995. Since 1992 till 2005 KROLEX, Mr. Krol became appointed as Independent Non-Executive Marketing and Salesmanager for a various Dutch shipyards, which resulted in numerous produced inland-waterway-ships but also other steelconstuction products. Highlighting the Summum of Understated luxury newbuilding rivercruisevessels; e.g. “River Cloud”, contracted in 1993 by Mr. Krol and shortly thereafter, another River Cloud II was delivert. In total 15 passengerships and rivercruiseships, were fully contacted by Mr. Krol.Since 2004 KROLEX contracted a 3rd generation rivercruisevessel, so called a three decks rivercruiser e.g. “Hemingway”. Meanwhile, the 4th generation rivercruisevessel, so called “Combi Cruiser” for the river- and sea trade and a “Coastal Cruiser” has been developed and contracted for world wide coastal trade. Today’s core business consists of maritime consultancy and project development for newbuilding of seagoing cargo vessels, but predominately rivercruise vessels and short-sea cruise vessels.

The Business-Club 'Societeit Ventus' is counting currently 240 members which represent about 90 different business-sectors. The members find their origin in the Medium to Small size companies, whereas the remaining 15% is from the Governmental and Cultural sector.Due to the Club's location, members are predominately from the northern provinces of the Netherland's (so called, Top of Holland).Please feel free to contact or visit the internetpage to find the forthcoming meeting.
