Ruby on Rails/Web Stack engineer for Silicon Valley startup. Worked as part of the engineering team to develop functionality to build consumer and operations code base to grow LendingHome into a national mortgage marketplace.

Supervised the software development efforts, architecture and technical directions of the Mortgage Information Technology division. Built prototypes and proofs of concept for architectural elements to confirm concepts were feasible and could perform at scale. Designed and built a service-oriented application framework in Ruby on Rails supporting heterogeneous systems, architected for rapid acquisition and merger strategies for a rapidly growing mortgage division. Worked closely with business process engineers to create high-performance systems centralizing business logic and workflow/rules into centralized services. Architected and built initial web-based frameworks for deployment to entire organization, from operations to secondary marketing. Designed and implemented centralized single-sign-on solution integrating with business directories, services, and all other architected systems. Centralized real-time role-based access control for management of system access, with focus on ensuring that proper access to services was appropriately filtered by organizational roles, groups, and responsibilities.

Written in Ruby on Rails, starting with v1.2. Real-time system integration with 30+ sales channels, including Amazon, eBay, point-of-sale and other online channels, as well as social media integration with de jour applications. Integration with existing sales catalog channels and purchasing groups.Elected to Board of Directors for the American Specialty Toy Retailing Association.Presented at retailing conferences on utilization of technology to increase sales performance, as well as consultation with manufacturers and retailers on increasing online presence in a multi-channel marketplace.
