I worked at Pine Cove Ridge throughout the summer after my sophomore year of college. I was a camp counselor for high school aged boys (14-18). In a week I would take care of anywhere from 6-9 boys for the entire course of the week; leading them in bible studies, meals, and different activities throughout the week. I was also trained and worked at the ropes course which is an extreme activities class, taking careful supervision over the entire course ensuring safety of its participants. I worked 6 days a week for 24 hours a day (being clocked in at all hours). My work this summer was held in 12 weeks on a summer contract.
