As an internal product manager on WCIRB’s IT Infrastructure team, I championed the use of new technologies within WCIRB, such as SharePoint Online, Outlook, Office 365, and cloud-based VoIP. - Intranet Redesign: Interviewed key stakeholders, documented requirements, and created wireframes and prototypes to design the new WCIRB intranet based on SharePoint Online. Managed SharePoint developer and UI/UX consultants to deliver a successful launch.- Departmental/Project SharePoint Subsites: Partnered with department heads to develop content types, metadata, and taxonomy to support the enterprise document management needs. - Training: Developed a company-wide training program to facilitate the migration from Lotus Notes to Microsoft Outlook, including instructor-led classes, self-paced videos, and a Training site on the Intranet.- SharePoint Administration: Configured sites, document libraries, lists, security permissions, workflows, and term sets to support team collaboration.- Voice/Fax Migration: Managed the migration of phone and fax services from an on premise Shoretel system to a cloud-hosted Masergy system. Gathered requirements; configured auto attendants, call centers, and hunt groups to support a seamless migration. Worked with Masergy to port all voice and fax DIDs on the weekend of the office move from San Francisco to Oakland.- Audio/Visual Technology Design: Managed the design and implementation of AV equipment in over twenty new conference rooms and collaborative spaces for the new Oakland office. Worked with the architect, contractor, and consultants during vendor selection, design, and construction phases. Conducted training sessions to show WCIRB employees how to use all of the conference rooms and AV equipment. New room features included 90-inch displays, overhead projectors, Crestron touch panel controls, wireless microphones, integrated PCs, retractable HDMI cables, and Barco ClickShare for wireless collaboration.
