Tumbador vzw is a nonprofit organisation that supports several rehabilitation projects in Peru and Guatemala by sending Belgian physiotherapists to help disabled persons and train local staff. We also offer other services, such as education, to help reintegrate disabled persons and their family in society.The PR task force is responsable for all publications concerning Tumbador vzw. We oversee the press contacts, send out press releases, make promotionale material, deliver the content of our own website, newsletter and social media (LinkedIn, Facebook, Google+ and Twitter) and support the other tasks forces by handing them the necessary tools such as templates and logos.

I also publish in international media such as travel guides and in-flight magazines. I mainly work in the domains of travel, food, wellness and outdoor activities, but sometimes I also produce articles about business, media and ict. Specialising in media (dailies, magazines, internet but also outdoor media) for a trade magazine that adresses the Belgian advertising market. I was covering hot news for the website and the weekly newsletter and writing in-depth reports for the monthly magazine.I combined this activity with freelance writing (on media & marketing but also on tourism) for a large number of Belgian and Dutch magazines, which eventually lead me to leave the company and focus on my freelance work.

I was responsable for all communication with photo agencies (for the record: in 2000 their catalogue had not yet been digitalised). Also, I followed up a lot of the administration, including the communication with the printing plant. I also wrote a number of articles for the magazine.
