Hans has more than 25 years’ experience as Programme- & Project Manager. His strength is his passion for the profession and the drive to implement change programs and complex projects. He has done all kind of projects and programs (for example; Mergers, Implementations (incl. ICT), building projects and joint ventures (BPO and ITO)). His special focus is on Benefit realization, Risks, Stakeholder Management and Business Cases.After his study at the University of Amsterdam in Mathematics, Physics and Information Technology, he was an officer in the Dutch army for 4 years. For 14 years he worked for Cap Gemini as an International Engagement Manager & Business Unit Manager.From 2001 to 2005 he was Program Director at ING. He implemented the corporate Programs and was accountable for the governance of all changes (CCO & portfolio management). From 2005 to 2010 he was Program Director at Berenschot. In this role he leaded complex Changes and Programs for clients in both Business and Public sector. Hans was Program manager at UWV in the period 2010-2012 for a complex corporate change program.From spring 2012 Hans worked for his own companies. In 2013 he started a new company on programme management with the name Dirigentem. This new label brings the most experienced project en program managers together for complex initiatives (only IPMA A & B certified).Hans is IPMA A certified and Internal Certified Enterprise Engagement Manager. His primary focus is on implementation of complex change programs.Hans his second passion is on improving the profession. He was auteur of books and originator of methods of Change-, Project- and Program Management. He is involved in the profession networks in many roles. He leads Master Classes for Business and Public management. The International Business Simulation “Game 2020” is based on his book “Organizations Changes by Programs”. This Simulation is translated in many languages and is used all over the globe.
