Als lid van een team van 20 docenten heb ik ICT studenten gedurende hun Innovatie traject in het 3e jaar begeleid. Werkend vanuit de principes van Scrum @ School hebben we de studenten kennis en ervaring laten opdoen met Agile, Kaizen en Lean. Met opdrachten uit de praktijk.In mijn rol als docent heb ik les gegeven in Agile en Scrum. Ook heb ik 8 teams in zowel hun samenwerking als de persoonlijke ontwikkeling van de 40 studenten begeleid.Mijn toegevoegde waarde kwam naar voren in begeleiding van de teams en studenten. Ook als teamlid van het docententeam heb ik bijgedragen aan de verdere professionalisering van het INNO semester binnen de Hogeschool.

I supervise graduating part-time students with their "Master's thesis". Within 2 fields (Informatics and Business, IT & Management) I bring value to the students by coaching on personal development, combined with substantive guidance and assessment.

As a (team) coach and personal supervisor of a group of participants in the social innovation project Capacity Building of the BEE-Ideas Foundation, my mission, passion and experience come together. Guiding people from personal leadership (from benefits) to work in ICT. It is my task and goal to make a valuable contribution to the personal development process of all participants within the team. Capacity Building is one of the initiatives of the BEE-ideas Foundation, a social innovation platform. In collaboration with UWV, Municipalities and CA-ICT, the foundation creates a practical learning environment where job seekers work on and learn from software projects with impact.

Assigned at Motion10, I supervised and coached the consultants working in the field of Data & Analytics (3 days a week). This guidance was aimed at personal development and supported growth in both soft and hard skills.My added value has been in bringing people together, building trust and creating peace. At the same time, with my background and experience in change processes, I contributed to the long-term objectives of the organization.

During this period I was responsible for the growth and development of the new Unit & Practice DevTest Engineering within Sogeti.

During this period I facilitated and coached a business unit of an average of 60 Test Professionals with servant leadership. From a personal and people-oriented approach I have created value for professionals, our customers and Sogeti. My added value was in facilitating career and talent development by means of (career) coaching of professionals on their personal growth path, aimed at sustainable employability. With this I offered our clients inspired Test Professionals with craftsmanship on behalf of Sogeti. Professionals, supported with training on the soft side of the test subject, focused on hospitality and people orientation. Another important aspect of my role was recruiting and selecting talented professionals. Talents who are developable and willing to develop and who fit in with the organization. My coaching skills have helped me get to the essence and drivers quickly during interviews for hundreds of candidates. This skill was valuable to both the candidates and Sogeti. During this entire period I also had the above responsibility for the Indian highly skilled migrants of the business unit. This responsibility has helped me to develop myself in terms of diversity and insight into other cultures, which helps me to collaborate, train and coach teams with a wide diversity. In addition to my regular work, I have enjoyed carrying out various individual coaching trajectories, I was a Talent Game coach and sparring partner for many people with a question about coaching. In addition to facilitating the various units, I was also at the basis of the Game Night guild and the Psych-IT guild during this period. These guilds are focused on craftsmanship, collaboration and connecting passion, making an impact on the whole of Sogeti. Impact on happiness at work, visibility in the labor market and interest from customers.

Within the Software Control division I made the connection between the demand of our customers and the offer of our professionals. My role and responsibility was aimed at matching supply and demand whereby I continuously sought the balance between the interests of employees / employer / customers. For me, in addition to professional knowledge, it was also necessary to have insight into the cultural DNA of the client and candidate, so that a human fit also took place. In addition, I was operationally responsible for the internal negotiation of rates and involved in making all interests visible in latent internal conflicts. This role has helped me to develop my intuition and judgment of organizations and individuals during stressful situations. I have also frequently called upon my mediation skills.

As a Senior Test Coordinator I was responsible for setting up the test process and steering the aforementioned process through the different test phases during 2 projects at Essent. In the first period I guided a new and young team in the testing process from Sogeti. The challenge was to deploy every team member in a meaningful way despite the limited knowledge, so that an optimal result could be achieved for the customer and Sogeti. This role has given me the insight that group dynamics are an important factor in successful collaboration. In the second period I worked as a test consultant in the IT and process department of a power plant. Here I trained and coached customer employees with my knowledge and experience in the importance of quality thinking within projects. I also trained end users here during the implementation process of a new system.

As a test engineer at client Essent I was responsible for creating insight into risks by specifying, executing and completing tests. Collaboration and consultation with many different types of people was necessary to make the knowledge of the systems visible.

During this period, Sogeti sent a group of young talents every 2 months to the Sogeti Business Course program of Ohio University in Athens Ohio (USA). I have been one of the (senior) coaches. In my role as coach I was responsible for the personal coaching, team coaching and guidance of the groups. The aim of this business course is to give this group the opportunity to make great strides in their personal development in a short period of time, so that they can start their assignment with a firmer foundation. As one of the coaches involved, I have made a valuable contribution to a trusting and safe environment in which they have been able to expand their personal arena. I did this with personal coaching conversations, team sessions and facilitating the group. With methods that support the creation of self-insight and insight into team dynamics. The most important success factor was that I fully committed myself as a person. The result is a rating from the participants that is an average of 8.7.

In this period, Sandd was still a real scale-up organization, with the accompanying growth dynamics. Due to the extremely rapid growth of the branch, I gained my first hands-on experience with Change Management. As manager of the Breda branch, I have successfully implemented the qualitative and quantitative growth objectives of the organization. My tasks and responsibilities focused on planning the sorting process and logistics to the postmen and training the people in these processes. In addition, I had a broad HR role with Recruitment & Selection, assessment and performance interviews and absenteeism guidance. All these roles appealed to my personal skills. When I left, 25 employees worked under my direct supervision and 220 postmen under indirect supervision.
