Personal mission: Reducing complex and strategic problems and issues to more simple, tackable goals and targets and transforming them together with projectpartners to concrete plans and projects.Way of working: I lead my projects on the basis of close collaboration with the projectpartners, building up confidence between them and connecting their interests to shared aims. By doing that I create win-win situations in a context of often contradictory interests. I like to develop innovative solutions and try to improve my performance all the time. Characteristic for me as a projectmanager is that I always aim for quality, results and an integrated, sustainable approach.Throughout my career I have been working in regions and in fringe zones of cities making and implementing plans for regional development. In the beginning of my career I was more focussed on policy making. Since 2000 I have become a project manager carrying out plans for regional development, doing that in close collaboration with government organisations, regional and local stakeholders, NGO's and the local communities.
