Als beleidsadviseur energietransitie zet ik mij dagelijks in voor een duurzame toekomst van Leiden. Met een specifieke focus op warmte en het warmteprogramma, werk ik aan oplossingen om de energietransitie voor de gemeente Leiden vorm te geven en de afhankelijkheid van fossiele brandstoffen te verminderen. Mijn rol omvat het ontwikkelen en implementeren van beleid dat de overgang naar duurzame warmtebronnen ondersteunt. Ik werk nauw samen met diverse stakeholders, van overheden tot bedrijven en gemeenschappen, om effectieve en haalbare strategieën te creëren. Met een achtergrond in ondernemerschap buiten de overheid en een sterke drive om impact te maken, heb ik deze stap gemaakt om bij te dragen aan een groenere en duurzamere wereld en samen te werken aan een toekomst waarin schone energie de norm is.

A storyteller in imaging, great communicator and result driven. I look for the essence of a project and turn this into a narrative be it on still or film.By creating relevant imaging in a ever changing world I keep developing myself both on personal and professional level.Both my photography and my film experience started in New York where I was lucky to assist some of the bigger names in the industry. I also worked as a studio manager at the New York based Virgin Digital Studio’s where I worked on commercials and music video’s productions.The encounters with the many celebrities I worked with at the time were a good learning experience for the future cooperation with people from the top of the businessand entertainment industries. I got to work there under high pressure in challenging productions.My photographic style is cinematographic in which light tells an important part of the story. As a photographer I have shot multiple international image banks for variousclients. Those are client specific series of images which translate the core of the company’s vision and values. In such productions my stills come close to my film images. Both have a strong storytelling aspect. In these projects I work with multiple stakeholders in different countries and I have a network of international producers. I advise clients regarding production, location, costs etc.I always aim for maximum production value, the costs of operation should be in line with the end result.Although most of my work has been still photography I worked on many film/ video projects and my photographic style fits well with video productions. I worked on advertising, editorial but also on educational projects.My client base is quite diverse, including the largest enterprises in the Netherlands, the government and SMEs as well as non-profit organisations. Corporate social responsibility is high on my priority and I contribute to charitable institutions.
