Short term assignment to cover an immidiate need

I was working as Business Controller for one of the world’s largest solar wafer plants. Reporting detailed month-end reports with deviation analysis against budget/forecast, and with focus on showing correct cost level, and production unit cost. Prepared yearly budgets and quarterly/monthly forecasts.Involved in cost improvements, and continues improvement projects based on Lean methods. During the last 6 months I was also assigned as Controller for plants that were closing down, and as Project Controller for R&D department.

I was in charge of the accounting of the legal entity, and reporting figures according to Norwegian GAAP, USGAAP and IFRS.The company was SOX compliant. Manager for a staff of two people.

Analysed figures, and prepared claims to vendors. Due to reduced margins, it was very important to combine and break down number from sales, product and economy departments, depending on the task at hand. This required me to work closely with all departments.

Working as a certified SAP FI/CO Consultant. Project experience as Implementation Test Manager at Yara’s production site in Glomfjord.

Credit check and issue credit limits to new customers. Follow up on overdue invoices. Back up for credit manager. During this period sales increased from 500 MNOK to 2000 MNOK.Stock market introduction, and merger with largest competitor during period
