About Hansherman Von Axelson

I am a trained Lawyer. Started my career in the insurance business. There I met a man with a disability. We became friends and he introduced me to the organisation STIL, www.stil.se, where I gave legal support to the members. Then in 1994 the Swedish disability ombudsman, HO, was set up and my time as a civil servant began. I became administrative director in 1997 and took courses in controlling and quality development. The courses were designed for the public sector. 2003 I also became the leader of the Swedish Accessibility Centre situated at HO. The centre became a part of the new Swedish Agency for Disability Policy Coordination where I have been since 2006. From The 1 of May in 2014 we have a new name Swedish Agency for Participation. The 7 of August 2023 I became research officer at The Swedish Post and Telecom Authority.Specialistområden: Disability PolicyStandardisatione-accessibility
