As the founding director of BlackShore I call my self sometimes the 'parent' of my brainchild "Cerberus". Award winning we manage the continuous evolving crowdsourcing platform Cerberus in which we turn satellite imagery into maps and data labels so we better understand disasters or humanitarian threats for example. Key ingredients are gaming to motivate our crowd and e-learning to train them. Nowadays the platform has over 130 000 trained players at the ready and is branching out in a growing array of working fields such as agriculture, sustainable land management, UNSDG goals, security, forestry and more. All our projects are equally interesting where Earth observation data is being enriched with crowd generated knowledge.Over the past years I gained extensive experience on solving problems using Earth observation data and the discovery of viable business strategies. By success, but even more important by failure.
