Han van der Pool is a Business Psychologist who has worked in a variety of business functions within the HRD field. He received his Masters in Psychology from the University of Amsterdam in 1981 and has received further education in international business at INSEAD, France and IMD, Switzerland. He has gained industry experience at a number of renowned international organizations in the public sector, retailing, manufacturing, logistic, academia and consultancy sectors at the European, American, Asia Pacific and African markets. Within the HRD field, Han has worked as a senior-trainer at a large Dutch Public Health company (Nationale Kruisvereniging), as a Management Consultant at KSG-Berenschot, as Director Human Resource Development at Royal Ahold and as Learning Consultant at Heineken International and Management Development Manager at the TNT corporate office. Currently he is Partner at Van der Pool Consultancy where he coaches and develops managers, leaders and talent of a myriad of disciplines in both western and non-western cultures (Americas, Far East, Central Asia, Central Europe and Africa).
