Experienced in leadership positions, possessing excellent teamwork, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills, and cross-industry/agency collaboration.I am a Master of Science (Chemistry) graduate with a strong passion in learning, problem-solving and digital innovation. I am interested in a career in research or management where I can apply the problem-solving skills I have gained through my previous experiences and be able to make an impact through digital innovation. I am also highly interested in seeking solutions for any problems which may arise in projects and also optimising or increasing the efficiency of workflows and processes.I have been in a leadership position in NUS Special Program in Science (SPS), leading a group of up to 80 students and 50 mentors. In addition to that, I had to communicate with the staff and allocate manpower in order to ensure smooth progression and execution of numerous modules and meetings. Also, I have spent more than 3 years in an academic research lab where I have honed my analytical and problem-solving skills. In those 3 years, I have taken on 5 challenging projects, some in collaboration with other researchers and Principal. I am proud to say that at least 3 of these projects have been successfully completed and our findings published in top-tiered journals. I am passionate about research where I can continue learning as well as apply my problem-solving skills. I am open to opportunities in a more hands-on roles such as service engineer and also laboratory research roles. In addition, I am look forward to expanding my horizons and diversifying my experiences to continue developing myself in a management position, where I can apply my leadership and communication skills in a highly impactful role.
