In my role at UNDP, I drive significant youth development initiatives through strategic management, policy advocacy, and partnership building. Key accomplishments include:- National Coordination of Youth Activities: Leading the implementation of youth programs across Lebanon.- Youth Empowerment Advocacy: Championing youth empowerment policies at local and regional levels.- Partnership Development: Collaborating with Youth Serving Organizations to expand youth projects.- Enhancing Youth Network: Developing technical solutions and engagement strategies to strengthen the alumni network.Notable Projects:- UNDP Internal DataPortal: Created a portal managing data for over 1100 youth program alumni.- YLP Café: Launched an online community platform offering resources, courses, and networking opportunities.- YLP9 Program Expansion: Significantly increased program participation by over 300% with decreasing the dropout rate to less than 10%- Youth Bootcamp Implementation: Successfully implemented 2 days bootcamp for 390 youth from all over Lebanon, with over 14 training sessions and 2 panel discussions. The bootcamp was implemented with adding no cost at UNDP and managed it through various partnerships and sponsorships.My efforts focus on empowering youth and shaping policies for their holistic development on Local and Regional Level.

As the Founder and Director of ToRead, a pioneering social enterprise, I lead initiatives to connect students with universities and scholarship opportunities tailored to their eligibility. Key accomplishments include:- E-Learning Platform Development: Crafted an innovative e-learning platform using interactive content and gamification to enhance student engagement.- Team Leadership: Oversee a dedicated team comprising 11 interns and 26 volunteers, driving operational and project implementation.- Strategic Partnerships and Representation: Successfully established partnerships with 7 organizations, aiding over 1200 students in Lebanon since inception in November 2020.- Company Establishment and Recognition: Spearheaded company formation, including business planning, fundraising, and legal registration. Recognition and awards were received on local and regional level from the American University of Beirut, Injaz al Arab, Mastercard Foundation and more.-Proposal Development and Partnership Building: Authored proposals attracting key partners like Taawon, Danish Muslim Aid, USAID, and the American University of Beirut.- Expansion into New Domains: Acquired expertise in financial reporting, legal registration, accounting, and team management.- Takadam Platform Innovation: Developed Takadam, a cutting-edge AI-driven platform, linking youth with opportunities aligned with their profiles and qualifications.

In my role as a Training and Support Officer at Kiron, I am deeply engaged in facilitating educational opportunities for refugees through innovative digital platforms and strategic partnerships. Key aspects of my role include:- Program Implementation: Spearheading the execution of the DAFI (Albert Einstein German Academic Refugee Initiative) scholarship program, in collaboration with IECD and UNHCR. This pivotal role allows me to contribute meaningfully to the education and empowerment of refugees.- Blended Training Programs: Expertly organizing blended training programs by utilizing the Virtual Kiron Campus along with various educational tools. My focus is on creating accessible, engaging, and effective learning experiences for students from diverse backgrounds.- Platform Management: Managing the backend of the Kiron platform, where I play a crucial role in preparing and updating learning materials and programs. This involves a keen understanding of educational content and technology, ensuring that the platform remains dynamic and responsive to student needs.Through these responsibilities, I am committed to leveraging technology and collaboration to break educational barriers for refugees, fostering an environment of learning and growth.

As a Youth Support Assistant, I work on providing support and assistance during the implementation of the YLP in Lebanon. I also worked on enhancing and upgrading the learning management system at UNDP YLP. Moreover, I worked on reviewing received applications and establish efficient communication platforms between UNDP team, partners, trainers and participants.Additionally, I assist in providing necessary information, knowledge and evidence generated on youth.

In April 2020, UNDP Lebanon launched the Advisory Board Members to scale up and extend the reach of more youth and further support youth-serving organizations in Lebanon regions. I was delighted to be chosen as the Advisory Board Member representing Mount Lebanon and Beirut.As an advisory board, I worked on organizing meeting and pitching events. Additionally, I supported in delivering training for the UNDP YLP Team members in Saudi Arabia and Palestine. I also worked on providing training for Hamad Bin Khalifa University and the Islamic Scout in Lebanon about the Sustainable Development Goals.As a board member representing Mount Lebanon, I had the chance to represent the youth in the Municipal Empowerment and Resilience Project (MERP). Through this program, I participated in the discussion on how youth can be more involved in the projects that the municipalities in Mount Lebanon are planning.This position allowed me to work closely with the UNDP team in Lebanon and get to know more about the family culture at UNDP.

As a web-developer, I worked on the development of the Youth Leadership Programme Platform in Lebanon. This platform played the main role in the digital transformation of the program in Lebanon and eased the virtual implementation caused by Covid-19 pandemic. The platform hosted more than 600 participants in Lebanon, and contained social and e-learning features. To ensure the engagement of the participants, gamification methods were used, such as points gathering and badges.

As a technical lead at Riyada for Social Innovation, I was responsible for the development of the e-learning platform of Riyada, under the name of ShababLab.I worked on developing the first e-learning specialized for the education of social innovation in the Arab World. I also created a course about web-development for entrepreneurs.

After volunteering with Riyada for Social Innovation, I was selected as a technical trainer and mentor for Youth about social innovation and using technology for social good. Through this position, I gave training for youth in various training programs, hackathons, and camps. In December 2017, I volunteered with Riyada for Social Innovation as a technical assistant in training programs for youth. During my first program "Game Development for Social Good", I was introduced about the entrepreneurship field, sustainable development, and game development. By the end of the program, I created a user guide and manual about game development for participants to use.During 2018, I also volunteered with Riyada for Social Innovation by representing the company in exhibitions and during several workshops, including:- AI For Social Good- Anti-bullying workshop

During my internship at FinFirst, I worked in different departments at the company to gain the most of the experience and to get introduced into different sectors. In August, I worked closely with the founder on the business research and gained experience in how to make a market research and competitor analysis. For the next two months, I moved into the technical work, where I got introduced to the architecture used in the company on the server side. I also worked on using WordPress to design the landing pages of the company. Additionally, I worked on upgrading to WordPress Multi-site where I was able to implement a multi-language and multi-country website. Moreover, I got introduced to integrating APIs and linking the backend with the front end of the website.Through my experience in FinFirst I worked with an international team with different cultures and was able to benefit from their experience.One of the best thing I learned is to use the agile methodology in my projects and that :"work is not done until it is done."

By the age of 18, I was selected to give an elective course at the International College of Lebanon as co-teacher for the course Social Entrepreneurship 101 for middle school students. The semester after, I started giving the social entrepreneurship course on my own. The year after, I started giving a new course: "Web-development for social good".These two courses are based on teaching students business skills like ideation, lean canvas, and pitching as well as technical skills like Android app or web development for prototyping projects.
