With over 15 years of experience in global governance, aerospace law and management, and digital economy/trade, I am a tenured full professor at Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT), one of the leading research universities in China. I hold a PhD in International Law and Legal Studies from China University of Political Science and Law, and have conducted post-doctoral and visiting research at City University of Hong Kong and DePaul University, respectively.As the Secretary General of JARUS official, I lead the coordination and harmonization of UAS regulatory frameworks among 66 civil aviation authorities and regional aviation organizations, with the aim of facilitating the safe, secure, and sustainable integration of UAS into the global airspace. I also serve as the Chair of the ICAO Asia Pacific UAS Task Force, and collaborate with various stakeholders, including the ICAO, industry, and academia, to address the emerging challenges and opportunities in the aerospace sector. My mission is to advance the academic and policy research in the fields of air and space law, emerging aerospace operations, and commercial space, as a professor, director, and deputy director at several prestigious institutions in China.
