Choosing fashion as my profession was a leap of faith driven by my passion for the influential nature of fashion and my desire to explore the question, “What is fashion?” To me, fashion is not just about clothing but a powerful medium of expression of self, whether it's about "yourself", "myself" or "ourselves". I am fascinated by how fashion is intricately intertwined with sociocultural systems and contexts, shaping and reflecting societal norms and values.My time at Future Forte has spanned over one year and eight months, during which I have advanced from a team member to the Communications and Marketing Manager. In this role, I manage press releases, oversee project and team management, and lead strategy planning. Future Forte is a non-profit charity organization dedicated to empowering, inspiring, and connecting international women and gender-diverse individuals from overseas. Working at Future Forte has been incredibly rewarding due to the diversity of the community; it feels like traveling the world without boarding a plane. My aspiration is to continue meeting and empowering multicultural and gender-diverse people, using my strengths and experiences to inspire and connect with them, which has kept me committed to the organization for this long.
