• Participated in some scientific research projects on tight gas reservoir hydraulic fracturing stimulation and development optimization of the Ordos Basin in North China.

• Adopted the displacement discontinuity method (DDM) and fracture failure criterion to estimate the scale of stimulated reservoir volume (SRV) around hydraulic fractures and the permeability increase within the SRV.• Established a complex fracture network numerical model by coupling the hydraulic fracture propagation based on geomechanics and fluid flow and the power-law probability distributed nature fractures.• Proposed an unstructured quad-grid based embedded discrete fracture model (UnQ-EDFM), which could perfectly adapt the irregular boundaries and increase simulation accuracy for the irregular shaped fractured reservoir.• Used hybrid non-gradient optimization methods to optimally design multistage hydraulic fractured wells in the naturally fractured reservoir, improved the recovery while reducing the development risk caused by geological uncertainty.• Applied unsupervised neural network algorithm to increase the optimization accuracy for multi-extreme value problems.

• Constructed highly adaptive triangular and quadrangular well pattern using unstructured gridding algorithms, performed large-scaled well pattern optimization in the heterogeneous reservoir.• Developed an adaptive vector well pattern using the unstructured gridding algorithm, constructed robust well pattern design for the irregular shaped and anisotropic reservoir after optimization considering geological uncertainty.• Inversely investigated hydraulic fracture distribution in the fractured reservoir with a combination of product performance and in-situ stress data.

Worked as a full-time field engineer. Participated in some of the drilling and fracturing projects of this company for Bohai & Liaohe Oilfield in East China.

• Built up an oil/water separation model under the electric field and performed the simulation using Comsol software.• Designed the components of horizontal oil/water separator for experiments using Solidworks software.

Summer internship in CNPC. Assisted in the technical department to recommend workover procedures for producing wells. Monitored, recorded, and corrected daily oil/water productions and injections for producing wells.
