Derek completed both B.Sc. in Statistics and B.Com. in Finance at University of Alberta. Then he decided to spend 1.5 year with Scotiabank to enhance his interpersonal skills and people’s relationship development as a financial advisor. Now with his passion in data, He has finished the DBA program at SAIT with an overall GPA 3.98 and moved on to BI, he has absorbed the skills with database using both Oracle and MS SQL Server in different operating systems including Windows and Linux.
