Chrysler Windsor Assembly Plant

• Responsible for all product build quality related defects in Body-in-White division on midnight shift• Directly supervise 19 unionized weld inspectors and 4 CMM skill trades on midnight shift; Communicate with Labour Relations and the Union on all man-related issues• Coordinate with maintenance supervisors and electricians on all the weld demerits that are caught by weld inspectors• Maintain the Body-in-White KPI tracking documents• Specialized knowledge in Body-in-White sealing process (Expandable sealer, structural adhesive and 2 part epoxy), Metal Line surface quality process (Dings, dents, high spots, bent metal, splits) and their repair procedures• Response to Body-in-White related quality calls in Assembly and Paint Shop and assist them in setting up containments for the defects• Implement continuous improvement and projects for all potential production issues (safety, environmental, quality and ergonomic)• Track the data from Perceptron cameras on a weekly basis and manage the CMM skill trades to complete all necessary maintenance work; Response to all production Perceptron rejects on the line and provide direction to trades on the defective parts (scrap, send downstream or repair)

• Responsible for Dodge Caravan and Chrysler Pacifica exterior closure panel quality and alignment (hood, doors and lift gate)• Currently supervise 18 unionized door fitters and 3 team leaders positioned from all shift in Assembly Final zone• Validate the fitting results by monitoring Quality Verification Stations knockdowns, escalation procedure and validation line audit process• Be familiar with the BIW net form and pierce (NFP), roller helming and panel line• Track repeat EOF fitting issues and relay the information to other BIW Quality Engineers• Maintain the BIW KPI tracking documents • Response to BIW quality calls in Assembly and Paint Shop

• Implemented & released Quality Holds in the Broadcast system for vehicles under Validation (Presigi) Line• Cooperated with Engineering Data Input Group in correct recording of the issues• Performed Root Cause Analysis on vehicle issues with relevant Department Engineers, specifically in BSR• Involved in prioritizing issues found that are to be reported by the Quality Engineering Group at the Daily Meeting• Coordinated with engineering personnel to discuss Root Cause and implement corrective actions for issues inspected by drivers• Alerted Engineering and Plant Personnel on Quality Issues and Statuses

• Assisted senior product engineers in upgrading the design of Cadillac XTS Forward Lamp Wire Harness System, and liaised with Lear Mexico Research and Design Department • Optimized the assembly line of a variety of products, including those listed above in order to increase efficiency; successfully increased the daily product output by five percent • Cooperated with the quality in updating the documentations with the knowledge of PFMEA after frequent observations and communication with general labors in the plant • Scheduled and organized weekly meetings with the team to review progress and brainstorm solutions to any problems that may have arisen • Drafted a flowchart of the new streamlined manufacturing process for existing workers, and authored safety instructions and training materials for new recruits

• Verified the accuracy, consistency, and performed general audits of all common expense reports (approximately five to ten reports per day) prior to submitting them to the plant manager • Collected, reviewed, and summarized monthly operational reports from various plant departments in order to monitor progress and operations of the whole plant, and forwarded the results to the head office in Germany • Involved in the research team and provided suggestions on changes that each department can make in the interest of cost effectiveness in the manufacturing process, and value to customers • Assisted department heads to develop strategies to improve the quality, maintenance, workplace layout and fluidity of information within the plant, and successfully reduced the turning cycle time by ten percent due to layout optimization
