Current•I purchase and buy various components for different projects within a very diverse supply chain.•I expedite the suppliers to ensure deliveries are correct and on time as well as placing orders, leasing with various stakeholders, supporting the sales team with quotations and dealing with any queries.•I ensure required components and services are being delivered in line with PO dates and maintain dates on Procurement Schedules as well as PO’s.•I maintain supplier relationships to achieve client delivery schedules.•I keep purchase orders in line with MRP requirements, after first investigating the requirement thoroughly.•I liase with suppliers, manufacturers and relevant internal departments. •I chase up drawings/specifications.•I support the sales team with costings for quotations. – raise any concerns with the Engineering/Sales or Purchasing Manager.•I manage contact for supplier non-conformance and returns. – chase up relevant departments/ suppliers.•I am involved in procurement internal continuous improvement projects.•I am involved in the Vendor Set up - Issue and chase up relevant forms to ensure due diligence checks are carried out, internally and externally.
