* I work on images & sound with people who experienced oppression by other people or by the state. I train and supervise them to make short films/radio/forumtheatre/wall posters/political action/music-clips about subjects that are of vital importance to them. Afterwards they discuss their products with people who are in the same situation.* I am artistic director and joker of forum theater group FORUMtheater.be (youngsters in Antwerp) and FORUM CITIZENNE (mothers in Brussels). In 2020 I continued with this and started a forumtheatergroup in Kortrijk / Courtrai with women who experience discrimination because of poverty or differences in cultural roots.* I work as a freelancer in youth participation projects at Jeugdzorg Emmaus Antwerpen.* Documentaries about antropological subjects for the city of Antwerp in Kiel, or short films for organisations like Hartstichting, Afasievereniging, Vpro, Nationaal park Schiermonnikoog.‘... with Paulo Freire’s method, 80% of the illiterate adults in South America can learn to read and write in 30 to 60 hours. He sends his lay teachers to a village to learn the political key words in the field. They differ from place to place and from year to year: it can be the ‘water source’ that was sealed off by the landowner, or the ‘debt’ that was collected by the police. In the evening the teacher meets with the people, who care about these words. He lets them speak. When the key word is spoken, he points at it on the blackboard, where it is written and where it will remain.
