Head of the Finance & Accounting department at VPIphotonics GmbH a leading provider of predictive network impact analysis software for communication service providers, with subsidiaries in Boston, MA and Minsk, Belarus. • Establishing a Finance/Accounting system• Managing all financial aspects of the parent company and it´s US subsidiary including revenue accounting, fixed assets, monthly and annual financial reporting US GAAP and German HGB• Supervising the accounting department staff members• Administering the companies G/L, payroll and expense reports• Prepare financial statements in accordance with GAAP and tax returns and work closely with CPA and the tax consultants.• Managing billing, cash flow, A/R, A/P, and Collections• Preparing audits and year end consolidation (adjusting entries) in compliance with US and German GAAP. Managing applications for R&D grant programs from national and EU institutions
