I worked as an industrial designer on a Norway-funded project in the Guatemalan village San Juan La Laguna to create sustainable development with community-owned ecotourism enterprises, together with a Guatemalan NGO. Methodological product development processes have been contributing to add values to products and services offered and an improved everyday life for the local weavers, ecotourism guides and the entire village population through a new waste management system.
