I work on a tug boat transporting fuel barges between Oahu, Maui, and Big Island delivering fuel oil and diesel to Maui Electric and Hawaii Electric Co. I hold an MMD with AB Unlimited and am waiting on my upgrade Tanker Man Assist from the U.S.C.G. My job consists of loading and discharging the barge, tying up, breaking tow, and engine watch, etc. I am working towards my tanker man PIC. I hold a 100 ton master near coastal captain’s license since 2001. I am always working towards upgrading my credentials.

I started my business All Custom Contracting while I was working at Blake’s in 1995. I worked for Blake’s until 2000 and continued to cultivate my business as well. In 2000, I had built up a steady clientele and focused all of my attention on ACC. Areas of expertise were hardscapes, irrigation, lighting, water features and maintenance. I have a vast knowledge of tropical plants and foliage. In 2003, I moved my company to Hawaii’s Big Island, and currently operate from both the mainland and Hawaii part time.

I worked at Blake Sand and Gravel for approximately 10 years. Job duties included running all heavy equipment such as forklifts, dump trucks, boom trucks, loaders and concrete trucks. I was the assistant manager for the last three years.
