Responsible for migrating on-premises infrastructure into AWS, designing scalable platform architectures, and realizing those designs as infrastructure as code via Cloudformation. I also developed webservers using Express.js and connector Lambda functions using Python.

· Implemented a resource usage telemetry collector for services running on Kubernetes, using Go to query Prometheus metrics databases, process results, and push usage data to a MySQL DB· To monitor batch compute usage, developed a history server microservice for Spark jobs launched on Kubernetes using Go· Developed a Python slackbot to notify oncall engineers from PagerDuty schedules when alerts are triggered to reduce response times. Used Amazon S3 to store channel-schedule mappings and hosted the bot in AWS Lambda

· Implemented a document library webapp using Vue.js for frontend and Spring Boot for a document server backend· Integrated an internal web scraping tool as a data source for a news analysis application, expanding its coverage of regions not represented in commercial document streams· Used Python to interface with the scraper and Apache Kafka to buffer extracted content before ingestion
