I am a Martial Artist on the inside and outside. This means that I am fit, active, and can throw a mean roundhouse kick but more importantly it means that I am focused, disciplined, confident, and because of this I am able to thrive as a both a leader and a learner. As much as I love pushing others to achieve their own great futures, I have my own aspirations I strive towards when I am not working. I am driven by challenges so I spend a good majority of my time trying to learn things outside of my comfort zone. This has taken me to interesting technological heights. I have a comprehensive knowledge of multiple Linux distributions and multiple programming languages. I am fascinated with taking complex computations and shrinking them down to the smallest computational unit possible. I am currently best versed with object oriented programming languages like Python, Java, and (arguably) Javascript. I have extensive knowledge with Javascript/Typescript and its frameworks like Vue2 and Vue3, AngularJS, React, and more. All of my experimentation has lead to me making things like a distributed web chat app with Vue3 using WebRTC, a P2P file transfer server in C, and the incredulous learning opportunity of creating the Power Cube; a portable, light-weight data acquisition device which runs with docker containers orchestrated through docker compose. It takes in signal data from sensors, converts and ingests the data from Kafka to timescale using custom drivers, and then displays that data at up to 20hz with Grafana. All of this is available over the local network. I am currently best suited for mobile and web application development. I am currently most interested in becoming an expert in networking, dev ops, and/or modeling and simulation.
