Co-founder of Third Derivative, RMI's climate tech accelerator. In the initial two years, we grew to a team of 24 across U.S., Germany, India and Singapore; built sectoral depth in industry, electricity, building, and transportation; and supported 110 startups.I led a team and owned increasing responsibilities in strategy, investing, and partnerships. We implemented a technoeconomics-first cohort selection process and a GHG impact-first investing model; coached researchers and managed an external expert network to select hardtech opportunities in hydrogen, CDR, cooling, cement, battery, and waste; raised and deployed $10M in pre-seed and seed investments across 70 cohort startups; and cultivated a co-investor ecosystem, representing 18 climate tech funds ($7b AUM total) with whom we collaborated closely, and achieving $500m co-investment mobilization during my tenure.I was named Forbes 30 Under 30 in Energy for this role.

CEA offered supply management, tech transfer, and transaction services for clients doing business with China's rapidly expanding solar PV sector. I supported the execution of a $8m solar inverter JV transaction, and the launch of a solar manufacturing QA production witness service line. I also led monthly market, policy and technology trend reporting in English and Chinese: covering the transfer of foreign technologies into Chinese manufacturing lines, and Chinese manufacturers' responses to anti-dumping duties.
