By providing filmmaking and TV production training, Nishkam TV equips Sikh youth with the skills to create compelling short films, documentaries, and TV programs that showcase Sikh stories, culture, and values.Under Harbaldeep's guidance, Nishkam TV students have produced an impressive portfolio of award-winning short films and TV programs. Notably, the documentary "Declaration of a Revolution" was selected for 21 international film festivals and won 10 awards. "SEVA," highlighting Sikh community service during the Covid pandemic, is available on PBS's WORLD channel. "Baywatana," focusing on the persecution of Afghan Hindus and Sikhs, premiered at the Parliament of World Religions in 2023 and is being screened internationally.Harbaldeep has trained over 100 students across the USA and produced 14 short films, 3 documentaries, and multiple talk shows. His collaborations with organizations like SALDEF and the Sikh Coalition have amplified Sikh voices globally. Harbaldeep holds a BS in Computer Science, an MFA in Film and TV Production, and an MBA in Entrepreneurship.
