Program Manager, Competition & Financial Analysis Division• Formulate long-term strategy of the company and evaluate alternate business models under different business and competitive scenarios• Evaluate prospective companies for inorganic play to expand operations, including business case evaluation and detailed financial modeling• Analyze the performance of various business segments and the company overall on a monthly/quarterly basis, and report key improvement areas to the circle teams and senior management• Track the key regulatory developments in the sector and analyze the impact of these developments on the company and the sector; subsequently work on responses/white papers on various policy issues• Track the latest trends and developments in the sector; including earnings releases, news updates, new product launches, tariff updates, and information related to subscribers and revenues published by the regulator

Equity Research Analyst, Indian Telecom & Media Sector• Build and maintain financial models for eight Indian telecom stocks, which involved understanding industry/business dynamics, and forecasting financial statements and cash flows using industry specific drivers• Analyze business and revenue models and financial statements to value stocks (using DCF – FCF, SOTP and Multiple valuation methodologies), set target price and fix recommendations on the stocks• Write thematic reports and flash notes on the Indian telecom sector and stocks, covering the key trends and challenges in the sector, changes in government and macro-economic policies, earnings releases and news updates
