In this project, I set up and configured an NFS server (serverA) to share the /usr/local directory with specific access permissions. The server was configured to allow read/write access for the clientA host and read-only access for all other hosts on the network. Additionally, I configured an NFS client (clientA) to mount the shared directory at /mnt/usr/local upon system boot.Key responsibilities and achievements:Edited the /etc/exports configuration file on serverA to specify the shared directory and access permissions.Used the exportfs command to re-export directories and the showmount command to verify exports.Configured clientA to access the shared directory using the mount command and added a mount entry to /etc/fstab for persistence.Demonstrated proficiency in Linux system administration and networking principles.
