I am the first point of call for all the utility invoices that comes into the organisation for payment. The utilities I cover are Gas, Electric, Water and Council Tax. I also am responsible for moving properties on and off contract rates, and dealing with all the bill validation and raising all invoices for payment. Due to being vigilant I can query invoices that I am concerned about before payment. I am currently work closely with Housing Management, Service Charges, Finance, Supported Housing, Development, and Facilities. I am always looking into new incentives on the market to reduce energy consumption.

I relocated to our Head Office in Dartford, where I joined the Central Business Admin Team, it was here I helped the train up all the new starters on how to use the systems, and to create a working handbook on the different aspects of the job and come up with processes and procedures on how to do them. I was approached whilst I was doing this job to take on a project as a secondment it was a project for updating our computer software called Contact Manager. I worked with a small team to go through the software and start checking what was being used and what was not, it was in this time I became a superuser for Contact Manager. I worked on the project with minimal training and learnt it as I went. I also scripted call documents, helped refine the documents that we currently had and processes for the business to make it easier to use. I was also asked to train staff so I ran training sessions which I really enjoyed.

Started off working in the Shared Ownership dept where I learned about the leases and also all about shared ownership and how it worked. I was trained up on the inhouse computer systems Genero and Contact Manager. It was my job to deal with all the paperwork side of the job. I also helped to implement new ideas in doing jobs differently and to make it more efficient.After my fixed term period finished I joined the General needs housing dept, where I learned all about tenancy agreements and the legal aspect of it. I spent time each week with the Anti Social Behaviour Team writing up witness statements and dealing with court papers. It was at this time I helped with an office relocation and move. I set up the new office and was asked to become a fire marshall and first aider which I did take on. I dealt with all the office queries as well as the paperwork side of , my job which was to keep all the records updated and scheduling in visits and working out the estate inspection programmes for the south east for the properties that we covered, I helped with setting up the cleaning and gardening programme. I did many other things which were not part of my job description but needed covering due to holidays and sickness.

I applied inhouse for this job. For this job I was trained up on the CAD systems software and used it to design kitchens and bathrooms, I also worked in sales and sold kitchens and bathrooms as well as conservatories. I also used to take deliveries and do a stock check every week, I also dealt with the point of sale queries and checking the point of sale docuements. I also used to deal with sales start to finish from taking the orders following them up to making the phone calls to inform them that they had arrived to booking in deliveries.
