Innovative Endometriosis Scientist with 6+ years experience in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology and LC-MS analysis and international and cross-functional collaboration experience gained at the University of Warwick in the UK, Wageningen Food Safety and Research in the Netherlands, and A*STAR in Singapore. I successful defended a PhD in Molecular Biomedicine, where I utilised molecular and cell biology, and bioinformatics to study the role of the metabolism in miscarriage. I researched how the cells in the lining of the womb/uterus transform into specialised cells that enable the uterus to "sense" and "select" embryos. My doctoral research has provided me with specialist knowledge of Women's Health and Oncology.I'm a Philomath, which means I love learning new things, so you will often find me reading about cutting edge technology and new research trends, and seeing how I can apply them to my career, research and everyday life.I believe in integrity, and teamwork. I love mentoring future scientists and creating a great work environment. I can work independently and within a team to prioritize tasks, and gain results in a timely manner. Outside of academia I like to develop new knowledge and appreciate nature. I have received the National Citizen Service award for my voluntary experience.
