  • Supervise all activities of drivers, dockworkers and other operations personnel. Utilize available resources to move freight in the safest and most cost-effective manner to meet or exceed customer expectations and to achieve company goals.• Supervise employee work schedules, including assignments, training, vacations, paid time off, cover absenteeism and overtime scheduling.• Develop daily delivery plan utilizing equipment, manpower and other resources to ensure an effective, efficient operation.• Supervise all activities of drivers and dockworkers responsible for efficient receiving, shipping, loading/unloading of trailers along with productive pick-up and delivery of freight at customer locations.• Manage work assignments, monitor performance and provide training on job duties, company policies and procedures.• Ensures daily KPIs are met, and monitors Operators and Processor's performance and productivity on a continuing basis.• Communicates daily to Warehouse Manager on achievement of shift targets, shift issues, equipment repairs and provides daily production reports at the end of shift.• Recommends improvements in work procedures to improve productivity, cost cutting, safety, quality and efficiency.
