Domain – OperationsRoles and Responsibilities: • Analyze the raw material buying at fabrication unit of JSPL for cost reduction and value chain optimization • Standardize the specification and minimize purchase cost for commonly used PPEs across JSPLAchievements: • Led to net cost saving of Rs 14.55 Cr (26% Reduction) among 3 product categories (Welding Electrodes, Paints, PPE)

Roles and Responsibilities:• Developed and implemented component level Procurement Strategies; Simplified process achieved 90% reduction in production loss due to parts unavailability.• Forecasted and executed Capacity Expansion Projects as well as Machining Line Balancing for Aluminum Castings to achieve production targets at all four HMCL plants.• Coordinated closely with the quality department to reduce the carry in defects by Introduction of Stringent Quality Gates.• SPOC for 19 Aluminum Die Casting Supplier, looking over activities like Parts Planning, Production Control, New Development etc.• Ensure timely availability of 474 parts to meet daily production targets. Got selected for my engineering summer internship in Mahinda Trucks Ltd. (formely Mahindra Navaistar Automotives Ltd.).• Designing and Prototyping of a low cost Anti-Fuel theft system which besides safeguarding against fuel theft, helped in enhancing the fuel flow thus minimizing the fuel filling time by approximately 30%. Project got selected and sent for IPR validation by Mahindra Global Engineering Center • Data Mining and analysis of lubricant used in heavy automobiles. Task was to rationalize the number the lubricants used and also to predict the change in need of lubricant type in accordance with region, engine configuration and changing environmental norms.

Founded BAJA SAE club, a 25-member team to design and fabricate institute’s first all-terrain vehicle (automobile) from scratch, participated and completed endurance race in BAJA SAE India 2011, National All-terrain racing event organized by SAE India.
