All it took was one counsellor to shatter the skyscrapers I had built in my little notepad, detailing my future in strings of ink, only because he thought 'Astrophysics' had no future.And then my Mama led me to Computer Science and Engineering, because I felt influenced that the course would eventually help me pursue my dreams, and I was so obviously and painstakingly wrong because of my autonomous study body, The Great SRM University. A lot of politics, a lot of complications, and a lot of conflicts later, I was dropped off from multiple subjects one by one, till I realized it was too much and I decided to drop out.Covid was an eye-opener in relationships, both familial and personal, for I had lost someone dear to me, and was getting through love life as if it was an intergalactic train. Post Covid was something I never expected, as I half thought I wouldn't make it at one point in bed, but the sheer will after a lot of thoughts pulled through.2022, and I was sailing smoothly into the family business, yes, I have always had a backup plan, but I wanted to do something of my own before I eventually gave in to the legacy. I couldn't find a decent opportunity. 2023, and the health deteriorated. Sharply, I must add. 12 months in a year, and I spent 8 months stuck to my bed, at home and in the hospitals.A breakthrough happened in late 2023, when I finally screened through an interview, and moved to a different city for a job. I returned back in late 2023, and got re-hired by the same organization twice, which was my answer in the form of violence, a slap to those who always said, "You're worthless without a college degree because you can land a job nevertheless, but not the one you could talk about without losing your face." I never saw their faces again.2024, I started experimenting, I went from giving it my all, to giving up completely. There was no in between, and all that tempering has finally brought me where I stand.Alone, but powerful, powerfully exhausted.And there's no going back.
