Now the Defense Digital Service. Spearheaded with a cross-functional team of DoD officials (OSD, Policy, IT, Public Affairs, etc), expert technologists in and out of government (eg. U.S. Digital Service and 18F, startups, incubators, tech entrepreneurs), DoD IT leadership & senior staff. Coordinated multiple technical and managerial work streams to develop a strategy and complete implementation plan to build an internal capacity to recruit top tech talent and deliver higher quality digital services department-wide. Developed a digital transformation framework & coalition for long-term sustainability used across the department. Identified initial founding team, new brand, key champions, and wrote policy reform proposals for the Secretary of Defense related to tech, digital services, innovation, and recruiting.

Worked to solidify a transformative gov-wide "startup" & iterate shared services at the heart of government. Major organizational policy, strategy, and change management. Working with White House, OMB, top government leaders, entrepreneurs/VCs, led team sprints to create a $16M+ gov-wide innovation pitch (shark tank style) competition / accelerator - now the internal “VC arm” of the federal government.
